A letterhead is the branded header and contact area used on an organization’s formal letters, notices, quotations and official correspondence.
What should it include?

Information to place on business letterhead
A strong letterhead identifies the sender without crowding the writing area. Prioritize the official organization name, logo, postal address and reliable contact methods. A website and registration line may be useful, but every line should serve the recipient. Avoid adding personal mobile numbers, identity numbers or claims that do not belong on public business stationery.

Do not resize a finished letterhead from one paper ratio to another just before printing. Select the intended paper size in the workspace so the header, writing area, footer and safe margins are composed together.
Using the letterhead in Microsoft Word or Google Docs
Choose Header PNG in the Download panel when you want a reusable image. In Word, open the header area and insert the image, then set its width to match the page while respecting the document margins. In Google Docs, use Insert → Headers and footers → Header, add the image and adjust its size. Print one test page because every printer and document editor handles header margins slightly differently.
For a fixed final letter that should look the same on another device, download PDF instead. For a blank sheet that will be printed first and written on later, switch off the sample letter before printing.

Can I add my own logo?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP logo up to 5 MB. The file is processed in the browser and can be resized with the logo-size control.
Can I create a blank letterhead without the sample letter?
Yes. Turn off “Show sample letter” in the toolbar or Layout panel. Your logo, organization header and contact footer remain visible.
Can I download the design as PDF or PNG?
Yes. PDF is recommended for printing, full-page PNG is useful for image workflows, and Header PNG is intended for insertion into Word or Google Docs.
Does it support A4 and US Letter?
Yes. The canvas, PDF page and print output all change to the selected paper size.
Can I add a GST, VAT or company registration number?
Yes. Use the optional registration line. Enter it only when the identifier is correct and appropriate for the document; the generator does not validate tax or registration details.
Can this create a CDR or editable Word file?
The generator creates PDF and PNG output, including a reusable header PNG. It does not create CorelDRAW CDR or native DOCX files. Use the header PNG inside your preferred document editor.
Are my logo and business details private?
This version creates the preview and downloads in your browser. It does not submit the entered letterhead content or uploaded logo to an EnglishTemplates server.
Should I use the same letterhead for invoices?
You can reuse the visual identity, but invoices, tax documents and regulated forms may require additional fields. Follow the current requirements that apply to your organization and location.
